This puzzle started with the idea of "can you make a puzzle where the pieces exchange by rotating around an edge as if it was an axle?". The result is this very unique puzzle, with a unique mechanism.
Solvingwise it is an edge turning dodecahedron where only two triangular faces are exchanged per turn.
In order to perform such a turn one has to switch four levers, two per triangle. This allows one to turn the edge between the triangles in an unique fashion demonstrated in image 4.
One can also remove a triangle after releasing all three levers.
