A CADed relative of the "The Orb" with six rows of marbles instead of four.
This puzzle is a higher order version of the vintage Parker Brothers puzzle "The Orb". Instead of 4 tracks of beads, it has 6 tracks. It is 3d printed in Nylon and polyJet resin, and then plated with copperm then chrome and gold.
Some beads are harvested from two sacrificial puzzles bought on ebay. The white and the black beads are 3d printed, designed to the exact same dimensions.
The rows of beads have 8-22-30-30-22-8 beads. The number of beads are dictated by the geometry, and the fact that the smallest rows have 8 beads.
Instead of the 3 midway positions the original orb can stop in, there are 5 midway positions. Like the original Orb there is a halfway position.
