The puzzles name suggests it is a variant of Jings Pyraminx but it is indeed a puzzle with a completely new mechanism.

This puzzle can be explained quite easily:
It is a Jings Pyraminx which allows moves of 60°
The puzzle is another member of the growing set of jumbling puzzles, although it was hard to proove this in this case.
It has a huge number of stored cuts.
