This is a straightforward shape transformation of a 3x3x3. The aim was to give it the shape of the core of such a 3x3x3. Phrased differently it has the shape of a tricylinder. Unlike the first tricylinder it was oriented completely differently so that the face pieces are not stickered.
The designer 3D printed and glued extensions on a mass produced puzzle.
