The normal Square-1 has four small and four large segments on the top and bottom sides. This new puzzle changes that to five segments each. Since the number of segments per size is odd the central cut can't be straight. The designer solves this with a curvy cut.
The inventor 3D printed the first sample. The one shown here was printed and stickered by Jason Gavril.
