After the designer presented the 2x2x3 Curvy Copter, he went over to the Cheese. The body of the puzzle is equivalent to Rubik's Cheese, a deepcut hexagonal one-layered prism. Then the designer added edge turns to all twelve edges on the top and bottom sides. These turns are all jumbling only turns.
Justin Costa designed the puzzle a long time before he finally printed it. Therefore the puzzle got its name.
