A truncated tetrahedron with a mechanism that combines one cut in its half with six copter cuts located in three planes perpendicular to each other.
This puzzle combines two sets of cuts:
- one deep cut between two edges. It mus be turned by 90° in order to allow the other to work.
- six more shallow cuts which are perpendicular to each other after a deep cut turn.
After a deep cut turn the axis system is equivalent to a 4x4x4, the puzzle therefore works like a bandaged 4x4x4.
Made with a resin printer.
Ninth puzzle of the bedCube collection.
Edge length (original tetrahedron): 103 mm
