A puzzle with dihedral axis system and 5 possible twists.
This puzzle was originally shown under the name "Pyraminx Magic Triangle" in the famous "PYRAMINX"-catalogue published 1982 by Uwe Meffert. Uwe has claimed that this item only ever existed as a cardboard mockup.
In September 2007 Lee Tutt presented the first functional sample almost at the same time when Adam Cowan made another one with a different internal mechanism.
Both samples were built from scratch. Both builders strived for the same height which is identical to the rubiks cube.
Piece type signature: PIII1mp[RX3a1/ T3]
