A puzzle which is based on the fifth dimensional symmetry of the 5-Simplex.
Pegasus uses the symmetry derived from the fifth dimensional 5-Simplex (equivalent to the complete graph K6).
Its movements can be viewed as equivalent to a 5-dimensional "rotation" of the object. In this case every permutations of the 6 vertices of K6 are reachable in this puzzle. That means every two vertices can be exchanged arbitrarily.
The movement is done by elongating and contracting the telescopic rods such that corners pass through the faces.
In 2010 the inventor presented the variant "pegasus" with coloured vertices. One year later he presented the variant "infinity" with coloured edges.
