The inner parts of each side resemble the Rex Cube. The designer reimplemented it and while doing so added a corner piece. It gives the puzzle the appearance of a 2x2x2 with and inlaid Rex Cube. Equally interesting is the working of these corners. The most natural choice would have been to reimplement the corners of the Master Skewb. Instead only one corner is affected by every turn, the behaviour of the corners of the Compy Cube. The set of piece is identical to the Raptor Cube.
