The eX-Mars Smartcube is an electronic with a robotic element. The eX-Mars has sides that are extruded from the core (resembling the Cross Cube) that contain motored wheels. This allows the cube to self-scramble and move on its own.
In contrast to other smartcubes on the market, using a phone app is optional on the eX-Mars, as the cube has plenty of features that do not require an app. Puzzle features include a learning mode, adjustable sensitivity and brightness, automatic scrambling, solving timer, solution recording and playback, and a mode for blindfold. Non-puzzle features include alarm clock, dancing music player, self-running solver, intelligent dice, and Scratch-based programming.
It comes with a charging cable and user manual. It came to live via kickstarter campaign which collected ca. 30000 USD until 2020.
