The inventor was inspired and motivated by the Penrose mosaic and wanted to transform it into a 2D puzzle.
The Penrose mosaic was discussed on the forum but was abandoned and the inventor had to redraw and reprint it two times.
After he finally succeeded he made a series of four puzzles with 3, 4, 5 and 10 circles.
Shortly after the presentation the designer presented a version with ten colours. See image 5.
