Shortly after the Pyrachair the designer presented a shape variant resembling Pac-Man.
To prevent all pieces from being identical and to give them orientation due the designer applied a small offset (bumps) to both axes. Therefore, the 5 square pieces are all different, thanks to the black eyeballs, although there are two pairs of them that are mirror-symmetrical, but not equal. For the 6 triangles of the Skewb, 2 of them do not move because they are the centres of their axes, and the other 4 are differentiated into two pairs of equal pieces.
The inventor uses the pseudonym "El Cubitero".
