Inspired by the work of Evgeniy Grigoriev (Mercedes Cube I, II and III) and the work of Grégoire Pfennig (Mercedes Tetrahedron)
For the shape of the exterior parts the inventor chose the retractable-roof of the Mercedes-Benz-Stadium in Atlanta.
He also gave it the colours the brand used for its commitment to social causes. Mercedes uses the visibility of its car to highlight social issues. This is how it has changed its F1 logo in support of LGBT+ pride and they have used it in three races of the world competition.
The only change affects the central star, necessary to make it playable.
