The "tetrahedral Kilominx" was the first puzzle presenting such a combination of shape and mechanism.
This new version differentiates itself through the rounded shape and (more important) the different orientation which results in different looking sides.
The designer 3D printed extensions and glued them onto a mass produced sample.
