In this model, although in principle not all the pieces are visible (a set of 4 corners are hidden), thanks to the presence of suitably placed windows, it is possible to know the position of all the pieces.
Can also be considered as a dodecahedral skewb with windows into the inside. These windows make the second set of four corners visible.
If we put plugs or close the windows or just ignore them, the puzzle becomes a Pyraminx Dodecahedron. See images 10-11.
Two toys in one, in this case the model could be called Pyraminx - Extreme offset Skewb Dodecahedron.
Part of the interest of this series of offset models has been to study how it affects not only the direction/axis linked to a cutting plane, but also the direction chosen in the design, which has allowed us to see that swallows and cuts deeper than the origin are not totally equivalent. The difference can affect the robustness of the model, its mobility or even its constructability.
