A hexagonal prism which allows quarter turns. In shape of a hexagonal dipyramid.
The axis system of this puzzle is a hexagonal prism. It has six axes which allow 90°-turns, one on each tip. In addition there is a seventh axis on the tip which allows 60°-turns. The shape is a hexagonal dipyramid truncated on the non-turning tip.
The shape is essential for the puzzle to work. In a true hexagonal prism the cuts would be so shallow that the quarter turns would be possible only in a jumbling or fudged puzzle.
