A nine-sided face turning puzzle with six jumbling axes and three non-jumbling axes. The shape is called an associahedron.

Madness Plus is very similar to Oskar van Deventer's Meteor Madness puzzle, but in the case of this puzzle there are three additional axes at the square faces. The basis of the form is a trigonal dipyramid which has been truncated at the three equatorial vertices, revealing three additional square faces. Curved cuts were used in order to ensure that all pieces have a unique location and orientation. The puzzle features six jumbling axes, and three doctrinaire axes.
Madness Plus was designed to show more clearly the geometry behind the series of "Tricopter" puzzles by the same inventor.
Edge length: 44 mm (longer edges)
