Three axes with 5-fold rotation. Effectively a Starminx with just three rotations.
This puzzle was designed to put itself in the line of Constellation six and Biaxe from which it got its name.
Like Constellation Six it has three axes of rotation. Unlike both predecessors the rotation allows for steps of 72. The result is a puzzle which is more complicated than Biaxe because all tips can switch places with each other. In addition the edges now have orientation as a result.
The resulting puzzle does not need fudging which can be explained easily. It works like a Starminx with just three possible movements. If one restored the truncated corner in the bottom, and truncated the three big tips, one would get a dodecahedron. Therefore this puzzle's mechanism is classified as Starminx unlike its predecessors.
Top edge length: 57 mm
