Rubik's 15 (XV) is 2 puzzles in one. Arrange the numbers in sequence 1 to 15. On the other side there is a magic square challenge.
Rubik's 15 is 2 puzzle in one. On the first side of the black box there are 25 windows arranged in a grid of 5 x 5. Tiles carrying Roman numerals from I to XV are visible through the windows. On the reverse side 9 windows form a grid of 3 x 3 and the tiles carry numerals 0 to 15. The tiles are moved by push buttons from 2 sides of the box. Most of push buttons move a column or row of tiles. One of the push buttons moves 3 rows of tiles all at once. No tile can be moved on its own.
Object: To solve the front side puzzle the Roman numerals have to be arranged in sequence with the * filling the last window in the corner of a 4 x 4 grid. To solve the reverse side puzzle, the numerals have to form "Magic Square" of 15. That is to say the sum total of the numbers in each row, each column and each diagonal have to add up to exactly 15.
