A Pyraminx truncated into the shape of what could have been a pyramid with hexagonal base.
This is one of Jürgen Brandt's modifications of a Pyraminx. Using a Tetraminx would be more appropriate since the creator completely removed the trivial tips of the Pyraminx. It is unknown why he didn't gave the puzzle the shape of true pyramid but the reason may have been to limit its height.
Jürgen Brandt didn't gave the puzzle a distinct name. The one given here was coined by later rebuilts.
The year given here is an upper bound which could be traced back in the forum.
