Politechnika (later renamed into Politoys) is wellknown as the original producer of Rubik's Cube. Lesser known is that Politechnika also produced a large number (at least 39) of promotional cubes. These were sold in various blue packages known from that era.
The version shown here advertises for an Iron and steel commercial company founded in 1922. Nowadays it is a part of ThyssenKrupp.
The logo is shown on all face pieces.
It came in hungarian politoys packaging with Rubik's signature.
The year is unknown but 1983 is an upper bound.
