Politechnika (later renamed into Politoys) is wellknown as the original producer of Rubik's Cube. Lesser known is that Politechnika also produced a large number (at least 39) of promotional cubes. These were sold in various blue packages known from that era.
The version shown here advertises for MGV. This is an abbreviation of Mezôgazdasági Gépgyártó és Szolgáltató Vállalat (Agricultural machine production and service company), in short or Mez?gép Vállalat (Mez?gép Company). An agricultural machinery manufacturing company, founded in 1948 and located in the city Veszprém in Hungary.
The successor company was Gutbrod Robix.
The logo is shown on all six face pieces.
It came in the hungarian politoys package with Rubik's signature.
