Politechnika (later renamed into Politoys) is wellknown as the original producer of Rubik's Cube. Lesser known is that Politechnika also produced a large number (at least 39) of promotional cubes. These were sold in various blue packages known from that era.
The version shown here advertises for IrodagépTechnika Vállalat (ITV): Office Machine Technology Company in Budapest. Founded in 1948 for the import and distribution of office machines. Products included office machines, printers, bank card readers, fax machines, cash registers, calculators and typewriters.
The logo is shown on the red face piece.
It came in the english politoys package with Rubik's signature.
The year is unknown but 1983 is an upper bound.
