Seven marbles in eight positions in at most one rail in a body with threefold rotation.

This is the result of a hunt for the smallest puzzle in the vein of the Orb-It. This is a puzzle in the vein of the Orb-It, Copper Orb and others. The FIDJ must be the end of this series as a smaller puzzle is hardly imaginable.
As with all puzzle of this type the body is split in two halves. It allows only for three steps and therefore for an extremely limited number of rails. In essence there is only one ring of marbles possible and this only in one of the three states. In the other two rotations there is just one line.
The rails have enough space for an eighth marble but in that case the puzzle could not be scrambled properly. Therefore the inventor left one marble out and created a Moving Hole puzzle.
The inventor 3D prints the puzzle in PLA and ABS plastic, with Neodymium magnets and Acrylic marbles. The marbles and the body come in a wide range of colours. Only a fraction of them are shown here.
