A nine-sided face turning puzzle with six jumbling axes and three non-jumbling axes.
Hadron is inspired by:
- Zsolt Árpád Papp's latest projects with the Associahedron,
- the "Natural" Edge-Turning Prism Geometries, written by Diogo Sousa
- Matt Galla's Catalog of jumbling geometries.
The puzzle is very similar to Oskar van Deventer's Meteor Madness and David Pitcher's Madness Plus puzzles, but in the case of this puzzle there are one piece additional per large edge, which gives the model a little more symmetry as all vertices use the same piece type.
The basis of the shape is a trigonal dipyramid which has been truncated at the three equatorial vertices, revealing three additional square faces.
The puzzle features six jumbling axes, and three doctrinaire axes.
