The puzzle is a regular 3x3x3 with stickers on the inside of the puzzle and the overall shape of a sphere.
The original idea with this puzzle is that placing stickers on the inside of the puzzle makes the solve more difficult.
Mathematically, it is equivalent of solving a puzzle in a mirror. It requires more concentration to visualize how to turn it to solve it.
The mechanism has no screw nor springs, only rails.
The inventor presented it under the name "Inverted 3x3x3" but that name was already taken.
