First this puzzle looks like a regular 1x2x3, but it has an interesting twist. When either of the 1x2-layers are turned, they either move up or down on a screw mechanism. This makes for a very interesting solve of a normally trivial puzzle.
Later the same year the inventor presented a second improved version. See images 4-7.
