This 5x5x5 is bandaged in a way that it behaves like a doctrinaire puzzle. The name alludes to the turnable layers. On every axis one slice turn is possible, with one, two or three layers, never more, never less. The corners are never moveable.
It is not the only bandaged puzzle with this property but among these it is one of the rare cases where the bandaging pattern is almost asymmetric.
