A deeper cut version of the Tuttminx. A hybrid puzzle.
Tuttminx Crystal is a deeper cut version of Lee Tutt's Tuttminx. It is a hybrid puzzle combining face- and corner turning dodecahedron, specifically the cuts of an edges only Megaminx and a face turning Icosahedron (curvy Radiolarian 2). The puzzle is deep enough to jumble on the icosahedral grips as shown in image 4. Unfortunately, jumbling can cause some internal bandaging due to an asymmetry of the petals, but it happens just under the surface, so it can be spotted immediately looking at the piece arrangements.
The outline stickers (cut by Jason Gavril) are solid on the pentagonal faces and outline only on the hexagonal ones. This is done to make piece recognition easier, given that the puzzle has 32 faces.
Diameter (inner): 116 mm
Weight: 280 grams
