At first this puzzle looks like it can't be turned at all but then the owner discovers that the "stars" can be pushed inside the puzzle and the turning action is revealed.
The puzzle is functionally equivalent to a Pyraminx. The six stars represent the edges and the circular pieces with the star-shaped frams represent the corners.
