A modification of the Clover Cube in which the inventor split up the wing pieces.
The inventor cut in half the wings of the Clover Cube which itself was implemented by adding new cuts to a 4-Leaf-Clover-Cube. Now the pieces of the latter puzzle are cut two times. As a result the former edge pieces are now split into four pieces. The inventor also removed the internal corner pieces to make the puzzle work better.
More amazing: The puzzle now supports 90°-turns on the edges as well. This is the reason why its mechanism is not classified as hybrid unlike the Clover Cube.
The inventor claims that this is a modification of the Clover Cube Plus. This is a misunderstanding based on the fact that Clover Cube nowadays is the name of two puzzles in the museum: The "Trifurcation cube" which is mass produced under the name "Clover Cube" and the "Clover Cube" which was the basis of this puzzle.
The inventor didn't mention it but the name might have been derived from the programming language C++.
