A 9x9x9 almost truncated into the shape of a sphere.

Tony made this together with my 9x9x9 Ball. Having shaped the ball he then put the rounded "edges" and "corners" into another V-Cube 9 and used them as a guide to make a new ball. After the pieces were cleaned and sanded he swapped the pieces back resulting in a 9x9x9 Ball and 9x9x9 Ball in a Cube. Making this puzzle any other way would have been extremely hard.
Tony chose a colour scheme that makes the ball look like a separate entity to the cube. He did this simply by not matching colours and it looks far better than a traditional style cube scheme.
Edge length: 110 mm
