A spherical 3x3x3 with the corners enlarged to form a frame that gives the appearance of a 2x2x2.
The puzzle has a strange property. The ball is not a sphere, but some sort of sheroid. A 90 degree turn of, for example, any slice, results in different height pieces being visible, and each slice produces a different height difference. It's almost as thought this was designed to be a bump type cube, except for the corners. This actually does not happen with the checkerboard pattern.
It was produced in a traditionally coloured version (images 1-2), ten different body colours (please refer to image 11) plus one version with six different colours: black, white, red, rose, green, blue, yellow, transpaent blue, transparent rose, transparent white.
Edge length: 57 mm
