The puzzle has 52 pieces arranged in 4 rows and 13 columns. The pieces resemble the 52 french playing cards.
The mechanism is similar to the ten billion barrel: All four rows can be rotated freely around the cylinder. One can also moves the green frame up or down and thereby move one column of pieces in the z-direction.
The L2 has a black body and moves two columns and one time.
