A 1x3x3 with additional layer attached. The corners are held in place with magnets.
Also known as Professor Floppy Cube.
Tony tried to simulate this puzzle with a computer program back in the 80s but never finished it back then. In 2016 he gave it another try in a physical form. He found himself additionally challenged by a comment in the museum which claimed this puzzle would be impossible.
Tony presented the puzzle on 1st April to fool the audience in a different way.
Indeed the puzzle is fully functional but uses magnets to hold the corner pieces in place. Everyone has to judge for themselves whether to consider this construction as a true 1x5x5.
