A hexagonal sliding block puzzle with eight pieces and two holes.

This hexagonal sliding block puzzle is made of several layers of glued acrylic. Each of the eight pieces is made of three offset hexagons separated by thin spacers, allowing the pieces to easily interconnect while freely sliding amongst each other. The direction of offset is directly toward the right-side face (which is evident from the offset hexagons of the left side pieces protruding into the inner cavity in image 1). The frame is of a similar offset-layered construction allowing the pieces to remain moveable while being fully retained within it (the right-side of the frame is partially hollow in order to accommodate the extending offset hexagons of the adjacent pieces).

The puzzle does not have a backing plate unlike most moving hole puzzles, so the player can reach thumb and forefingers around the frame to grab and swiftly slide the pieces.
