Rubik's Cube (MAKO)

Six generations of cubes (all with small differences in the cube and the packages) were produced and sold by MAKO in Spain during the original cube craze.

MAKO was a licensee of ITC during the original cube craze. During that period MAKO produced and sold Rubik's Cube in six generations all with some small differences in the cubes and the packages.

First model (images 1-3):
These came without logo on white center. They come with an orange vinyl on top of the package without MAKO logo. There are two colour schemes. The center pieces were flat and went without spring only with a piece of nylon. Labels of the cylinder were in silver.

Second model (images 4-5):
This came with the wellknown logo in the white center but still with an orange vinyl on top of the package.

Third model (image 6):
The packagage of this is identical to the 2nd model but uses a different center piece.

Fourth model (image 7)
This came with logo in the white center and gold logo MAKO on top of the package. The "El Cubo Del Mundial" (see the separate entry) steems from this generation.

Fifth model (image 8)
This is the most popular model. It carries a SILVER logo "MAKO" on top of the package. The cube is identical to the fourth model.

Sixth model (images 9-10)
This come with the logos and seals on the packages in gold.
