Gift Capsule is a shape variant of the Turn Apart puzzle. Jet Xie suggested this capsule shape, which is apparently quite popular in China. The puzzle has eight parts and it turns like a 2x2x2 Rubik's Cube. The different parts are connected by dovetail connections. These connections cause hidden bandaging of the puzzle, which makes it very difficult to solve. When solved, one can remove one of the eight parts and get access to the inside. The capsule is a perfect place to hide a ring. Once solved, the puzzle can be completely disassembled. Links
