One 3x3x3 from the first batch of Politechnika/Pentangle cubes. Used as an invitation gift.
Please note the square stickers, and the raised mold markings. The cubies are solid. This along with the UK address and date of 1980 on the box hints that this is a Pentangle cube.
It comes in a personalized box (personalized label), as an invitation to a reception and preview of the Barratt Cavendish Showhouse.
What else is interesting is that the cube seems to be stock, with the images (tree and helicopter) screened onto the cube, instead of custom stickers. (you can see the one image is on the stickers as well as part of the cubies)
Please note also the text on the side of the box interesting, where it discusses the challenges of the cube, and that a mathematician, John Trapp, would be on hand at the event to explain the cube.
Size, weight, details are identical to the first batch of Politechnika cubes.
Weight: 146 grams
