The first fully functional faceturning rhombic triacontahedron.

The axis system of the edge turning dodecahedron is the most ambitious one which can be derived from the platonic systems. Not a handful of puzzle with this axis system was known until this creation saw the light of the forum.
The Big Kahuna differs in two ways from its predecessors:
1. It has the shape of a rhombic triacontahedron which is "natural" for this axis system.
2. The cuts are way deeper than for the predecessors.
The inventor presented the first version in 2011. See images 6-10.
That first designed 2 shells and was a total failure that broke apart under the inventor's hand. Therefore he never stickered it.
In 2023 the inventor revisited the concept and redesigned it with 4 shells, successfully.

Piece type signature: DE2[E5 X14 L24][]
It consists of 573 pieces of which some are ridiculously small.
Diameter: ca. 100 mm
Weight: 239 grams
Since its presentation in July 2011 the inventor hasn't presented a stickered version.
