At first this looks like 6x6x6 stupidly bandaged into a 2x2x2.
Indeed this is a 2x2x2 which "cubies" are made of eight different interlocking puzzles.
Jos Bergmans created in 2012 three of these and gave them the names Santa Ana 1,2 and 3.
Yuuji Shimamura designed in 2010 five puzzles with the name Spin-1,2,3,4 und -7.
Image 4 shows the inner 2x2x2 without the interlocking puzzle.
