This puzzle looks like an unproportional 4x4x4, but allows mixup turns as additional feature. This puzzles is derived from the original Mixup cube. There are other turns possible after a mid plane is turned by 45 degrees. This way of turning mixes up the center and edge pieces.
This 4x4x4 allows all the moves of the Mixup 3x3x3. In addition the middle layers are split up in three dimensions.
This puzzle is part of a series ranging from 3x3x3 to 4x4x4. The package was used for all four puzzles.
