A face turning icosahedron with just four visible pieces per face.
Gregoire Pfennig was challenged to implement what he considers "a proper 2x2 Icosahedron".
In order to make it real he tried a method with dynamically extendable parts that go over other parts in mid-turn and click back into place after the turn. He used rubber bands to realize this mechanism.
He is not happy with the result but it had proved the concept.
