A Fused Cube with additional cubies glued on to create the illusion of a 4x4x4

This is a member of the EvilTwin-family. Like all of these puzzle there are at least two basic puzzle fused into one and additional cubies were glued on to create a new and bigger puzzle.
In this case two 3x3x3 were fused like the Fused Cube and the additional cubies create the illusion of the 4x4x4.
As far as it is known this modification was first implemented in december 2007 by a member of the forum member named "brown" who has left the forum by now.
The images shown here were made from a sample built by Kyler van der Gaag in February 2009.
In 2023 Calvin's Puzzles presented it own version. See images 4-5.
