The first proportional 3x5x5 was implemented with the help of traditional (?) olzing. The designer of this one modified this technique and used protruding layers which still have many regular angles. The creator first utilized the design on his own "shape changeable 5x5x5" but in that case the special design was not perceivable.
The cuts look as if one had used olzing combined with square angles.
