It looks like a pair of Siamese Cubes but it allows to exchange pieces between the halves.

The Siamese Cubes invented by Tony Fisher is probably the first handmade modification of a Rubiks Cube ever made and presented. This new puzzle revisits that old concept. Several people (including Tony Fisher) where disappointed when they first recognized that there is no way to exchange pieces between the two cubes fused into one puzzle.
The puzzle of this entry overcomes this barrier and introduces an additional axis in the shared block.

This puzzle fills a gap the community saw way to long. Since Tony Fisher presented the first Siamese Cubes people had felt sad that the traditional variant represents nothing more than two bandaged 3x3x3s fused into a single object. This puzzle fills the gap. This puzzle allows an additional move which helps to exchange pieces between the two halves.
Even the puzzle's name reflects this history.

The puzzle can be made with dice and magnets(by making a siamese cubes with 2 dice cubes). It is impossible to build a 3x3x3 version of the fully functional siamese cubes without magnets for the reason that the corner pieces do not have any place to overlap in the middle of the front rotation. They would be hanging in the air one cubie away from the last point.
