A megaminx bandaged to resemble the pattern of Mefferts bandaged cube.

Also known as BiMinx.
This is one of the many possible different bandaged cubes. The way it was bandaged was designed to resemble the pattern of the Bandaged Cube by Mefferts. Like the latter it has one free corner and two faces which are connected to the edge between them and the core of the puzzle. Beyond there are only corner-edge-blocks and face-edge-blocks.
The images shown here steem from a sample made by Alfred J Williams in 2010.
The first very similar sample of this bandaged megaminx could be seen in a sketch presented by Dieter Gebhardt in his article in "Cubism For Fun #30". The difference is that the sketch shows only three moveable layers. This reduced variant was first implemented by Jürgen Brandt who used Gebhardt's article as direct inspiration. His sample was made sometime between 1992 (year of that article) and 2003 (year of the video in which Mr. Brandt showed his variant).
