A merchandising 2x2x2 of which only 4 (!) samples were produced.
Back in the time when "Star Wars - The phantom menace" was about to be aired Seven Towns (trademark owner of the Rubiks Cube) and Lucas Licensing were about to fix a deal to produce this variant of a 2x2x2 which depicts the famous robot from the 6 Star Wars movies.
Four prototypes were produced. One was left without coloring. At least one (the one shown here) was left without official markings. And for one even a packaging was produced which makes this sample even more rare. To the current knowledge there are no more than four samples produced in total.
Seven Towns backed out of the deal because Lucas Licensing wanted to much money.
