Pieces of a rhombiminx used to create a 2x2x2 with four additional layers.
The first sample of this puzzle was presented by a forum member ("Smashy") in 2008.
The version shown here was made by Claus Wenicker on the basis of the STL-files for the Rhombiminx he got from Garrett Ong.
The pieces were used to add four sets of pieces to four sides of a 2x2x2. The result looks as if one has twisted a tetragonal prism by 45° inside its solid.
